The New York Script Club is a free support group for all those interested in the art of screenwriting.
It is open to writers of all backgrounds, income and skill levels. We provide members with education, mentoring groups, motivation and networking opportunities through biweekly meetings and writing sessions.
NyScriptClub has flourished in the past six months.
We've seen the successful launch launch of our Industry Chat Series featuring Jeff Silverstein, President of Oscar honored Nehst Studios and our upcoming Creative Business of Screenwriting seminar by the renowned professor Marilyn Horowitz.
In the coming Spring, we have plans to brand NYScriptClub to the entire New York City film community.

We've also instituted a very popular, and free, screenwriting course taught by Steven Arvanites.
Its goal is simple: to have a completed screenplay in twelve weeks that you can then you sell in 2008.
So please join us to meet a dynamic group of fun, smart, dedicated New York City screenwriters.
Never an attitude - just learning, networking, logline madness -- and occasionally a pizza.
