The Long Island Screenwriters Association strives to provide support and resources to all members. Anyone can join and my goal is to provide all members with an encouraging, fun, informative, helpful and choice-based atmosphere. There is a monthly charge of $5 to cover the cost of the monthly subscription fee and to offset expenses. … Some groups we highly recommend checking out are the Long Island Amateur Fimmakers meetup and the NYC Screenwriters Meetup along with Big Vision Empty Wallet, which can now be found on the web. Most meetings will be in or around the Smithtown, NY Area. Class locations will be announced when scheduled and will be Suffolk, Nassau and the city.

We are a creative community center in the heart of Westport in a 19th century carriage house that looks like a little red schoolhouse. We teach creative writing in small groups and have many sections. We also teach screenwriting, writing for children, memoir, songwriting and have a teen program in July.
